More hopeful--an openness, perhaps. The line of white just below his face, arms extended in anticipation. A street corner or school yard, young guys, approaching the camera in turn, moving into the foreground... A spot in the limelight, a place in the sun... Not to explain it, but there IS that "old school flow", in a time where so much has been stripped away, turned into pose...a re-connection...
